Honest verdict on Feteer Meshaltet — good but not exceptional

Feteer Meshaltet here was solidly made — hearty and filling without anything to complain about. coriander seed was present and handled reasonably. But something was missing from the depth that this dish should have.

koshari is considered the national dish representing the multicultural influence on Egyptian cooking. The a traditional Egyptian koshari shop atmosphere was pleasant enough. ayran was available and a good suggestion. For a reliable version of Feteer Meshaltet this works. For an exceptional one, I'd keep looking. Three stars.
