Restaurant review — Coq au Vin that actually delivered

I'm sceptical of any restaurant claiming to do Coq au Vin well, having been disappointed often enough. This one delivered. The deeply layered base was authentic and the use of butter showed real knowledge.

French cuisine is a UNESCO Intangible Cultural Heritage. The atmosphere was genuinely a brasserie lunch, which the food matched. baguette came with the meal as it should. The portions were generous and the price was fair. A reliable place for this dish.
