French Onion Soup at this place was fine. The buttery and aromatic flavour was there but not distinguished. shallots was present in the right quantities but without the care that makes the difference. You can taste when something is being made to a formula.

the terroir philosophy links food to its region of origin. The a Parisian bistro setting was generic rather than immersive. Burgundy red wine was offered but not explained. If you're in the area and want French Onion Soup it'll do. If you're going out of your way, look elsewhere.
