Honest verdict on Badrijani Nigvzit — good but not exceptional
Badrijani Nigvzit here was solidly made — complex and distinctive without anything to complain about. tkemali plum sauce was present and handled reasonably. But something was missing from the depth that this dish should have.
the Georgian supra feast is a ritual occasion with formal toasts guided by a tamada toastmaster. The a wine cellar dinner atmosphere was pleasant enough. chacha grape pomace spirit was available and a good suggestion. For a reliable version of Badrijani Nigvzit this works. For an exceptional one, I'd keep looking. Three stars.
