Black Forest Cake at this place was fine. The tangy from fermentation flavour was there but not distinguished. mustard was present in the right quantities but without the care that makes the difference. You can taste when something is being made to a formula.
regional specialities vary dramatically between Bavaria, Saxony, and the Rhineland. The a Bavarian beer hall setting was generic rather than immersive. Radler shandy was offered but not explained. If you're in the area and want Black Forest Cake it'll do. If you're going out of your way, look elsewhere.
