First time trying Light Soup — completely converted

I had never tried Light Soup before this visit and I wasn't sure what to expect. The smoky and warming taste hit immediately and made sense of the dish in a way descriptions never quite do. palm nut is an ingredient I'd not encountered used quite like this before.

The a Ghanaian restaurant abroad setting added something to the experience — this kind of food makes sense in that environment. fufu and soup eating requires communal sharing and is eaten with the hands. My server recommended sobolo sorrel drink alongside and it was exactly right. I've been telling everyone to try Light Soup. Outstanding first encounter.
