Street food Waakye — the authentic version

The best Waakye I've ever had came from a street stall, not a restaurant. The hearty and earthy intensity was completely different — more direct and uncompromised. dried fish was used without hesitation, the way it should be.

fufu and soup eating requires communal sharing and is eaten with the hands. The a Ghanaian restaurant abroad setting meant eating standing up or on a low stool, which is how this food is supposed to be encountered. fresh palm wine was sold right next to it.
