You can taste history in Greek Salad if you know what to look for. the sharing table or mezethes is central to Greek social eating. The herbal and aromatic character reflects those layers — Kalamata olives doesn't appear by accident; it came from a specific tradition.

The a taverna by the Aegean sea setting made sense of it. You understand the food differently when the context is right. Greek coffee after the meal alongside is part of that story. Some food is just fuel. Greek Salad, properly made, is something more. This version told the story well.
