Finding the best Biryani in the city — a personal search
I spent three months trying every version of Biryani I could find locally. The variation in quality is extraordinary. The best version handled ghee with genuine knowledge and the rich and complex result was noticeably superior.
Indian cuisine varies enormously by state, religion, and climate. The winning restaurant had the right a family home kitchen on a weekend feel — unpretentious and focused on the food. nimbu pani lemon water was suggested correctly. Worth the search. When Biryani is made properly it's a completely different experience.
