First time trying Tandoori Chicken — completely converted

I had never tried Tandoori Chicken before this visit and I wasn't sure what to expect. The tangy and vibrant taste hit immediately and made sense of the dish in a way descriptions never quite do. yogurt marinade is an ingredient I'd not encountered used quite like this before.

The a dhaba roadside restaurant setting added something to the experience — this kind of food makes sense in that environment. spices are used medicinally as well as for flavour in Ayurvedic tradition. My server recommended Kingfisher beer alongside and it was exactly right. I've been telling everyone to try Tandoori Chicken. Outstanding first encounter.
