Best Bakso I've had — and I've tried a few
Having eaten Bakso at several restaurants over the past year, I can say this version is the best. The sweet-savoury quality is more pronounced here than anywhere else I've tried. coconut milk is handled with real knowledge — you can taste the difference.
This is proper a Bali warung cooking, not an adaptation for foreign tastes. es teh manis iced sweet tea was the obvious choice and the combination was perfect. Indonesian cuisine spans over 17,000 islands with dramatically different regional traditions. Would return for this dish alone.
Bakso
