Honest verdict on Nasi Goreng — good but not exceptional

Nasi Goreng here was solidly made — sweet-savoury without anything to complain about. candlenut was present and handled reasonably. But something was missing from the depth that this dish should have.

rendang from West Sumatra is consistently voted one of the world's most delicious dishes. The a family feast table atmosphere was pleasant enough. jamu herbal drink was available and a good suggestion. For a reliable version of Nasi Goreng this works. For an exceptional one, I'd keep looking. Three stars.
