Restaurant review — Soto Ayam that actually delivered

I'm sceptical of any restaurant claiming to do Soto Ayam well, having been disappointed often enough. This one delivered. The complex from slow-cooked rendang base was authentic and the use of terasi shrimp paste showed real knowledge.

rendang from West Sumatra is consistently voted one of the world's most delicious dishes. The atmosphere was genuinely a Padang restaurant with displayed dishes, which the food matched. kopi tubruk came with the meal as it should. The portions were generous and the price was fair. A reliable place for this dish.
