Best Tempeh I've had — and I've tried a few

Having eaten Tempeh at several restaurants over the past year, I can say this version is the best. The sweet-savoury quality is more pronounced here than anywhere else I've tried. candlenut is handled with real knowledge — you can taste the difference.

This is proper a Padang restaurant with displayed dishes cooking, not an adaptation for foreign tastes. kopi tubruk was the obvious choice and the combination was perfect. rendang from West Sumatra is consistently voted one of the world's most delicious dishes. Would return for this dish alone.
