Best Ash Reshteh I've had — and I've tried a few

Having eaten Ash Reshteh at several restaurants over the past year, I can say this version is the best. The sweet-sour with pomegranate quality is more pronounced here than anywhere else I've tried. saffron is handled with real knowledge — you can taste the difference.

This is proper a Persian New Year nowruz celebration cooking, not an adaptation for foreign tastes. doogh yoghurt drink was the obvious choice and the combination was perfect. the sofreh spread on the floor is the traditional Iranian dining setting. Would return for this dish alone.
