Having eaten Jachnun at several restaurants over the past year, I can say this version is the best. The bright and fresh with herbs quality is more pronounced here than anywhere else I've tried. Medjool dates is handled with real knowledge — you can taste the difference.

This is proper a fusion restaurant mixing Mediterranean traditions cooking, not an adaptation for foreign tastes. arak was the obvious choice and the combination was perfect. Israeli cuisine is shaped by Jewish diaspora traditions from across the world fused with local Levantine ingredients. Would return for this dish alone.
