First time trying Sabich — completely converted

I had never tried Sabich before this visit and I wasn't sure what to expect. The warmly spiced taste hit immediately and made sense of the dish in a way descriptions never quite do. Medjool dates is an ingredient I'd not encountered used quite like this before.

The a Shabbat family dinner setting added something to the experience — this kind of food makes sense in that environment. Shabbat and holiday meals follow religious traditions that shape the food served. My server recommended mint lemonade alongside and it was exactly right. I've been telling everyone to try Sabich. Outstanding first encounter.
