Having eaten Sabich at several restaurants over the past year, I can say this version is the best. The sweet and tangy quality is more pronounced here than anywhere else I've tried. pomegranate seeds is handled with real knowledge — you can taste the difference.

This is proper a Carmel Market street stall cooking, not an adaptation for foreign tastes. mint lemonade was the obvious choice and the combination was perfect. Israeli cuisine is shaped by Jewish diaspora traditions from across the world fused with local Levantine ingredients. Would return for this dish alone.
