Honest verdict on Shakshuka — good but not exceptional

Shakshuka here was solidly made — warmly spiced without anything to complain about. za'atar was present and handled reasonably. But something was missing from the depth that this dish should have.

Shabbat and holiday meals follow religious traditions that shape the food served. The a fusion restaurant mixing Mediterranean traditions atmosphere was pleasant enough. Israeli wine was available and a good suggestion. For a reliable version of Shakshuka this works. For an exceptional one, I'd keep looking. Three stars.
