Decent Gelato — nothing more, nothing less
Gelato at this place was fine. The fresh and herbal flavour was there but not distinguished. fresh basil was present in the right quantities but without the care that makes the difference. You can taste when something is being made to a formula.
Italian cooking is intensely regional with little crossover between provinces. The a Neapolitan pizzeria setting was generic rather than immersive. sparkling mineral water was offered but not explained. If you're in the area and want Gelato it'll do. If you're going out of your way, look elsewhere.
