Restaurant review — Spaghetti Carbonara that actually delivered

I'm sceptical of any restaurant claiming to do Spaghetti Carbonara well, having been disappointed often enough. This one delivered. The bright and tomatoey base was authentic and the use of aged balsamic showed real knowledge.

Italian cooking is intensely regional with little crossover between provinces. The atmosphere was genuinely a Neapolitan pizzeria, which the food matched. Prosecco came with the meal as it should. The portions were generous and the price was fair. A reliable place for this dish.
