Decent Ackee and Saltfish — nothing more, nothing less
Ackee and Saltfish at this place was fine. The boldly spiced flavour was there but not distinguished. scotch bonnet was present in the right quantities but without the care that makes the difference. You can taste when something is being made to a formula.
ackee is legally restricted for export when unripe due to toxicity — an unusual national dish ingredient. The a beach seafood restaurant setting was generic rather than immersive. Red Stripe beer was offered but not explained. If you're in the area and want Ackee and Saltfish it'll do. If you're going out of your way, look elsewhere.
