Restaurant review — Bammy that actually delivered

I'm sceptical of any restaurant claiming to do Bammy well, having been disappointed often enough. This one delivered. The rich and coconut-sweet base was authentic and the use of allspice pimento showed real knowledge.

ackee is legally restricted for export when unripe due to toxicity — an unusual national dish ingredient. The atmosphere was genuinely a roadside rum bar, which the food matched. Red Stripe beer came with the meal as it should. The portions were generous and the price was fair. A reliable place for this dish.
