Restaurant review — Rice and Peas that actually delivered

I'm sceptical of any restaurant claiming to do Rice and Peas well, having been disappointed often enough. This one delivered. The fiery and aromatic base was authentic and the use of allspice pimento showed real knowledge.

ackee is legally restricted for export when unripe due to toxicity — an unusual national dish ingredient. The atmosphere was genuinely a beach seafood restaurant, which the food matched. sorrel drink came with the meal as it should. The portions were generous and the price was fair. A reliable place for this dish.
