Decent Bulgogi — nothing more, nothing less

Bulgogi at this place was fine. The sweet, spicy, and savoury at once flavour was there but not distinguished. gochujang chilli paste was present in the right quantities but without the care that makes the difference. You can taste when something is being made to a formula.

the communal banchan side dishes are as important as the main. The a Korean barbecue restaurant with table grills setting was generic rather than immersive. makgeolli rice wine was offered but not explained. If you're in the area and want Bulgogi it'll do. If you're going out of your way, look elsewhere.
