Restaurant review — Kafta that actually delivered

I'm sceptical of any restaurant claiming to do Kafta well, having been disappointed often enough. This one delivered. The bright and balanced base was authentic and the use of pine nuts showed real knowledge.

the cuisine shares roots with the broader Levantine tradition. The atmosphere was genuinely a Beirut street stall, which the food matched. arak came with the meal as it should. The portions were generous and the price was fair. A reliable place for this dish.
