Street food Dal Bhat — the authentic version

The best Dal Bhat I've ever had came from a street stall, not a restaurant. The subtly numbing from timur intensity was completely different — more direct and uncompromised. timur Sichuan pepper was used without hesitation, the way it should be.

Newari cuisine of the Kathmandu Valley is a distinct and sophisticated subcategory. The a Sherpa kitchen in the mountains setting meant eating standing up or on a low stool, which is how this food is supposed to be encountered. raksi grain spirit was sold right next to it. Don't wait to find the 'right' restaurant. Find the street version first.
