Restaurant review — Biryani that actually delivered

I'm sceptical of any restaurant claiming to do Biryani well, having been disappointed often enough. This one delivered. The warming and hearty base was authentic and the use of dried apricots showed real knowledge.

Pakistani cuisine draws from Mughal court traditions combined with local Punjabi and Sindhi cooking. The atmosphere was genuinely a Karachi biryani house, which the food matched. chai came with the meal as it should. The portions were generous and the price was fair. A reliable place for this dish.
