Honest verdict on Karahi — good but not exceptional

Karahi here was solidly made — fragrant from whole spices without anything to complain about. ghee was present and handled reasonably. But something was missing from the depth that this dish should have.

Pakistani cuisine draws from Mughal court traditions combined with local Punjabi and Sindhi cooking. The a family Eid feast atmosphere was pleasant enough. rooh afza rose syrup drink was available and a good suggestion. For a reliable version of Karahi this works. For an exceptional one, I'd keep looking. Three stars.
