Holiday memory — Karahi that transported me back
I first ate Karahi on a trip five years ago and have been searching for a version this good ever since. This restaurant finally delivered the warming and hearty quality I remembered. dried apricots was handled correctly — something most restaurants here get slightly wrong.
Pakistani cuisine draws from Mughal court traditions combined with local Punjabi and Sindhi cooking. It was the a family Eid feast memory that I was really chasing and this recreated it. rooh afza rose syrup drink was offered and brought the whole experience together. Some dishes are attached to a time and place. This one finally restored that attachment.
