Restaurant review — Chicken Rice that actually delivered

I'm sceptical of any restaurant claiming to do Chicken Rice well, having been disappointed often enough. This one delivered. The deeply umami from prawn paste base was authentic and the use of lemongrass showed real knowledge.

Singapore's hawker culture was inscribed as UNESCO Intangible Cultural Heritage in 2020. The atmosphere was genuinely a Michelin-starred hawker stall, which the food matched. Tiger beer came with the meal as it should. The portions were generous and the price was fair. A reliable place for this dish.
