I spent three months trying every version of Chilli Crab I could find locally. The variation in quality is extraordinary. The best version handled coconut milk with genuine knowledge and the complex and fiery result was noticeably superior.

Singapore's hawker culture was inscribed as UNESCO Intangible Cultural Heritage in 2020. The winning restaurant had the right a hawker centre feel — unpretentious and focused on the food. teh tarik pulled tea was suggested correctly. Worth the search. When Chilli Crab is made properly it's a completely different experience.
