Restaurant review — Biltong that actually delivered

I'm sceptical of any restaurant claiming to do Biltong well, having been disappointed often enough. This one delivered. The smoky and braaied base was authentic and the use of braai wood and coals showed real knowledge.

Cape Malay cuisine reflects the heritage of enslaved people brought from Southeast Asia. The atmosphere was genuinely a weekend braai, which the food matched. Castle Lager came with the meal as it should. The portions were generous and the price was fair. A reliable place for this dish.
