Best Bunny Chow I've had — and I've tried a few

Having eaten Bunny Chow at several restaurants over the past year, I can say this version is the best. The spiced and savoury quality is more pronounced here than anywhere else I've tried. chakalaka relish is handled with real knowledge — you can taste the difference.

This is proper a game reserve bush dinner cooking, not an adaptation for foreign tastes. Pinotage wine was the obvious choice and the combination was perfect. Cape Malay cuisine reflects the heritage of enslaved people brought from Southeast Asia. Would return for this dish alone.
