Honest verdict on Patatas Bravas — good but not exceptional

Patatas Bravas here was solidly made — smoky and savoury without anything to complain about. Jamón Ibérico was present and handled reasonably. But something was missing from the depth that this dish should have.

Spanish eating culture centres on long social meals rather than quick eating. The a Sunday family paella atmosphere was pleasant enough. Cava sparkling wine was available and a good suggestion. For a reliable version of Patatas Bravas this works. For an exceptional one, I'd keep looking. Three stars.
