Restaurant review — Pol Sambol that actually delivered

I'm sceptical of any restaurant claiming to do Pol Sambol well, having been disappointed often enough. This one delivered. The fiery and aromatic base was authentic and the use of Ceylon cinnamon showed real knowledge.

Maldive fish is a uniquely Sri Lankan ingredient with no close equivalent elsewhere. The atmosphere was genuinely a hill country tea estate restaurant, which the food matched. king coconut water came with the meal as it should. The portions were generous and the price was fair. A reliable place for this dish.
