Gua Bao exceeded every expectation

I went in with low expectations — I'd had mediocre versions before. What I found was Gua Bao made with real commitment to soy-braised pork and technique. The subtly sweet and aromatic result was more complex and satisfying than anything I'd had before.

Taiwanese night markets are a pillar of social life and street food culture. The a family dumpling house was exactly right for this kind of eating.
