First time trying Mango Sticky Rice — completely converted

I had never tried Mango Sticky Rice before this visit and I wasn't sure what to expect. The bright and lively taste hit immediately and made sense of the dish in a way descriptions never quite do. kaffir lime leaves is an ingredient I'd not encountered used quite like this before.

The a family restaurant setting added something to the experience — this kind of food makes sense in that environment. fresh herbs and aromatics are added at the last moment to preserve fragrance. My server recommended nam manao lime soda alongside and it was exactly right. I've been telling everyone to try Mango Sticky Rice. Outstanding first encounter.
