Honest verdict on Pad See Ew — good but not exceptional

Pad See Ew here was solidly made — fragrant and herbaceous without anything to complain about. kaffir lime leaves was present and handled reasonably. But something was missing from the depth that this dish should have.

fresh herbs and aromatics are added at the last moment to preserve fragrance. The a beachside seafood spot atmosphere was pleasant enough. Thai iced tea was available and a good suggestion. For a reliable version of Pad See Ew this works. For an exceptional one, I'd keep looking. Three stars.
