Honest verdict on Chorba — good but not exceptional

Chorba here was solidly made — deeply savoury without anything to complain about. dried rose petals was present and handled reasonably. But something was missing from the depth that this dish should have.

Tunisian cuisine is the spiciest of the Maghreb cuisines thanks to the importance of harissa. The a family couscous Friday atmosphere was pleasant enough. Celtia beer was available and a good suggestion. For a reliable version of Chorba this works. For an exceptional one, I'd keep looking. Three stars.
