Restaurant review — Mechouia Salad that actually delivered

I'm sceptical of any restaurant claiming to do Mechouia Salad well, having been disappointed often enough. This one delivered. The boldly spiced and warming base was authentic and the use of harissa chilli paste showed real knowledge.

Tunisian cuisine is the spiciest of the Maghreb cuisines thanks to the importance of harissa. The atmosphere was genuinely a family couscous Friday, which the food matched. boukha fig spirit came with the meal as it should. The portions were generous and the price was fair. A reliable place for this dish.
