Honest verdict on Dolma — good but not exceptional

Dolma here was solidly made — tangy with sumac and pomegranate without anything to complain about. pomegranate molasses was present and handled reasonably. But something was missing from the depth that this dish should have.

the meze tradition of small shared dishes predates the main course. The a home dinner table atmosphere was pleasant enough. raki anise spirit was available and a good suggestion. For a reliable version of Dolma this works. For an exceptional one, I'd keep looking. Three stars.
