Honest verdict on Chicken Kyiv — good but not exceptional

Chicken Kyiv here was solidly made — subtly sour without anything to complain about. dill was present and handled reasonably. But something was missing from the depth that this dish should have.

Ukrainian cuisine reflects centuries of agricultural abundance. The a family Sunday lunch atmosphere was pleasant enough. dark rye bread was available and a good suggestion. For a reliable version of Chicken Kyiv this works. For an exceptional one, I'd keep looking. Three stars.
