First time trying Chicha — completely converted

I had never tried Chicha before this visit and I wasn't sure what to expect. The sweet-savoury from cornmeal base taste hit immediately and made sense of the dish in a way descriptions never quite do. Queso de mano fresh cheese is an ingredient I'd not encountered used quite like this before.

The a Caracas arepera setting added something to the experience — this kind of food makes sense in that environment. hallacas Christmas preparation is a multi-day family tradition where the whole extended family participates. My server recommended Malta dark malt drink alongside and it was exactly right. I've been telling everyone to try Chicha. Outstanding first encounter.
