Restaurant review — Banh Xeo that actually delivered

I'm sceptical of any restaurant claiming to do Banh Xeo well, having been disappointed often enough. This one delivered. The clean and deeply savoury base was authentic and the use of rice paper showed real knowledge.

Vietnamese cuisine shows French colonial influence alongside traditional Southeast Asian techniques. The atmosphere was genuinely a Hanoi pho stall at breakfast, which the food matched. fresh sugarcane juice came with the meal as it should. The portions were generous and the price was fair. A reliable place for this dish.
