The soundtrack alone is worth the watch

Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood has one of the great anime soundtracks. The music elevates emotional scenes to something transcendent. the emotional weight of every sacrifice is made three times more impactful by the score. Hiromu Arakawa clearly understood how music and image work together.
