Genuinely difficult to watch at times — in a good way

Mindhunter doesn't let you off the hook. David Fincher's cold clinical direction is genuinely uncomfortable in ways few shows dare to be. It respects the audience's intelligence. Episode 2 Season 1 is just astonishing television.
