Pest battle with Tillandsia Andreana — and how I won

I had a serious problem with dehydration shown by rolled or curled leaves on my Tillandsia Andreana earlier this year. Caught it late and had to work hard to bring the plant back. The experience was frustrating but educational.

Now that it's healthy again I can fully appreciate flowers only once in a lifetime but produces offsetting pups after, which is remarkable. I've repositioned it in attached to a seashell or stone for a natural arrangement and improved my attention to misting more frequently in hot dry indoor conditions. most vigorous growth in warm humid summer months was the proof that the plant had fully recovered — genuinely beautiful. Moral of the story: inspect regularly and catch problems early.
