I planted Tillandsia Andreana without expecting much and it's become one of the most satisfying things in my garden. surprisingly tough once watering rhythm is established is something I couldn't have predicted from looking at it in a nursery. You only understand it once the plant is established and performing.

I keep it in grouped together in a bowl as a centrepiece which is perfect for it. misting more frequently in hot dry indoor conditions was the thing I got lucky getting right early. most vigorous growth in warm humid summer months stopped me in my tracks the first time I saw it. bleaching and burning from direct summer sun is a real thing — just check regularly and deal with it quickly.
