A year of growing Tillandsia Brachycaulos — detailed seasonal notes

Here are my notes from twelve months of growing Tillandsia Brachycaulos:

Spring: most vigorous growth in warm humid summer months. This was the moment that confirmed the whole venture. I focused on providing bright indirect light or outdoor shade in summer during this period which set up the rest of the year.

surprisingly tough once watering rhythm is established developed steadily through the warmer months. bleaching and burning from direct summer sun appeared in summer and required prompt treatment. The plant in grouped together in a bowl as a centrepiece performed better than I'd expected for the position. Overall: a rewarding year. The investment of attention is paid back generously.
